Our point of power is in the present moment.

If your life does not feel like it is working for you. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, feel like you've lost your spark, and/or are off track. Possibly you are experiencing anxiety or depression. Or you may want to move to the next level of your personal or spiritual development.

Are you ready to change your life? If your answer is yes, you may be interested in working together. I've found that by engaging in the process of psychotherapy, your life begins to change. My trust in this process comes from my work with clients, as well as my own personal growth work.

I believe in healing from a place of wholeness. Within us lies all the answers, and sometimes we just need someone to help us uncover our truth and illumination. My therapy practice is client based and mindfulness based. I work with present moment awareness in helping you to uncover some of the core beliefs and patterns that may be holding you and/or your relationships back, as well as integrate all parts of yourself with kindness and self-compassion.

Thank you for your interest in my work. I invite you to read through my website and reach out to me if you feel as if working together could be helpful. Some areas I work with are:

LGBTQ Issues

Early Child Abuse

Couples Counseling

Spiritual Growth

Personal Empowerment

Cultural & Ethnic Idenitity

How I work

Paul Lebars, M.A., MFT

In therapy we would work with present moment awareness in a holistic and empowering way. The power of working in with the present moment experience is that you can learn about your past and how it affects your life in the present. You can use this to uncover core beliefs and experiences to help understand your past and create a new future. We also access different parts of the self and bring awareness to how you're organized in life. You can learn what your strengths and resources are, which are unique to each individual.

In facilitating your work I draw from my training in psychotherapeutic theories and techniques such as: Somatic Psychotherapy, Hakomi Body Centered Psychotherapy; Humanistic Psychology; Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy; Holistic and Integral Psychology; Depth Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology (Reiki, Symbolism, Oracular Tools, and Dream Work).
